About The Founder

Hi! I’m Esha Meta, the founder of EcoServe Tennis — a BIPOC youth-led nonprofit built from my love for tennis and my passion for protecting the environment.

I’ve been playing tennis for years, and it’s always been more than just a sport to me; it’s a community, a source of confidence, and a space that teaches discipline and connection. However, over time, I began to notice something that most players don’t consider: the significant amount of waste that tennis generates. Used balls piling up, broken strings tossed away, and gear that could have gone to someone in need.

That realization stuck with me, and it inspired me to serve differently.

I founded EcoServe Tennis to help make the sport more sustainable and inclusive. Through recycling tennis balls and strings, and collecting gently used gear for donation, I’m working to reduce tennis-related waste while giving more players the opportunity to play, no matter their background.

My goal is to create a movement that empowers young people — especially those from underrepresented communities — to lead change in both sports and sustainability.

Let's work together to build a community of people who believe that every serve can make a difference!
