Get to know the Founder
My name is Esha Meta, and I am the founder and president of EcoServe Tennis. After playing tennis for nearly a decade, I experienced firsthand how sports can build confidence, discipline, leadership, and a sense of belonging. I also began to recognize that many girls are excluded from these opportunities because of financial barriers, limited access to equipment, and a lack of supportive athletic spaces.
I created EcoServe Tennis to help close that gap. Through free tennis programs, equipment donations, sustainability initiatives, and community partnerships, the organization works to make sports more accessible and create environments where girls feel supported, empowered, and encouraged to lead.
My goal is to turn the sport that shaped me into a platform that helps more girls discover their strength, claim their place, and see greater possibilities for their futures.
2025
First launch. Start of programs and recycling initiatives. Launched Play for Protection blog.

Expanded nationwide, impacting hundreds of girls. Continuing to grow rapidly.

Tennis has long been seen as a sport of privilege, yet the waste it produces does not stay within the communities that benefit most from it. Thousands of tennis balls, strings, and other materials are discarded each year, adding to landfills and environmental burdens that disproportionately affect lower-income communities. At the same time, many children in those same communities lack access to tennis, equipment, and opportunities to play. EcoServe Tennis connects these two issues by keeping usable materials out of the waste stream while reinvesting resources and opportunities into underserved youth—especially girls. We believe making tennis more sustainable should also mean making it more accessible.
