EcoServe Tennis is a youth-led nonprofit dedicated to empowering girls through tennis, expanding access to sports, and strengthening communities. Through free lessons, equipment donations, youth programs, community partnerships, and our Play for Protection research platform, we explore how sports can build confidence, discipline, mentorship, leadership, and belonging—protective factors that may help reduce vulnerability to crime and other harmful outcomes. We also collect and repurpose used tennis balls, strings, and rackets, connecting girls’ empowerment, crime prevention, youth development, and environmental sustainability through one shared mission.

Research Blog

Play for Protection is EcoServe Tennis’s research-based blog exploring how access to sports can empower girls and contribute to stronger, safer communities. Through articles on confidence, discipline, mentorship, belonging, and other protective factors, we examine how positive athletic experiences may reduce vulnerability to future criminal involvement. The blog connects research with real-world stories to show that sports can create an impact far beyond the court.

About the Founder and President of EcoServe Tennis

Esha Meta is the 16-year-old founder of EcoServe Tennis and a longtime tennis player. After seeing both the opportunities sports can create and the barriers that prevent many children—especially girls—from participating, she founded EcoServe to make tennis more accessible, reduce waste within the sport, and use athletics to promote confidence, connection, and safer communities.
